There has been so much going on and I haven't filled you all in sooooooo lets starts with DADDY & ME DAY... As you all know I am all about basketball and of course I'll sit back and watch any choice sport with my guy... But when I came across these tickets to The Giants VS The Eagles game I just had to get them for my dad & my sister Shyah who both LOVE football, I figured I'd join them two just to get the experience. I ended up having a good time I met the coolest chick LINDSEY and I put a smile on my sister and my fathers face... MISSION ACCOMPLISHED...

DJ L is The Name...

In celebration of a recent success in the office my supervisor thought it would be fitting to have an outing with just the people in our immediate office. She decided to treat us to DJ Lessons at the Scratch Academy located at 32 Cooper Square 2nd Flr. The Scratch Academy was started by the late Jam Master Jay of the infamous Hip Hop pioneer group Run DMC... I have always said that I'd like to one day DJ a set at a club, I mean if Solonge can be a DJ so can I, RIGHT. While the experience was fun, it wasn't as easy as I had expected it to be. I will say that when I do decide to DJ a set it'll be from a MAC BOOK PRO...

Have You Ever...

After watching Rihanna's new video I have realized  that "I HAVE NEVER FELT A LOVE LIKE THIS ONE" displayed in the video. The video is obviously a reenactment of RiRi & Chris Browns relationship and it makes one realize that through the very public domestic relationship these two had their love for one another was very relevant... This video is deep, overly sexy and inspiring in a weird way... Can I actually have a strong love like this minus the pill popping??? My favorite part of the video is when he tats her ass, DOPENESS. Check out the video after the preview below... #TEAMLOVE

BEFORE I DIE....

If you had 24 hours to live what would you do.... People often joke about the things they would do if they knew that their life was about to end. The streets of Brooklyn are now challenging us to make a public pledge as to what we would like to do or accomplish before we die. You can post your pledge on the corner of Adams & Fulton where a life size chalk board has been placed temporarily while construction is being complete in that area. I caught a couple of people out making their pledge. So ask yourself "BEFORE I DIE" what would I like to do....

Bottles & Strikes "OH WHAT A NIGHT!!!

You all know I am best for tagging along with my little sister cool kid @Shyah... Last night she invited me to come along to an event at Frames Bowling Alley on 9th ave in the city for a Bottles & Strikes party thrown by Anglea Ye & Mike Keiser which was hosted by LaLa Anthony... As I sat at work trying to determine whether I was even in the mood to party and dealing with the dilemma of my hair not being freshly done I said to myself  "Leah if you don't go to this event I bet it will be an event that is talked about all week" and boy was I right... Frames lane was packed with the who's who of the industry, there were Top C list celebs like Jennifer of Basketball Wives, Maino and Terrance J, Then you had your B List Celebs like Lala Anthony but the show stopped when A Lister's Carmelo Anthony, Jay-Z & Beyonce entered the room. With Julius just a foot behind Beyonce there weren't too many photos taken but I must say that Jay & Bey are a hell of a couple and that baby bump is just so exciting to see... Let me finish by saying that Lala & Carmelo not leaving the event hand in hand (as Jay & Bey did) but a cool 15minutes apart lets me know that there is room for me to squeeze in (YES SIR GET IN WHERE YOU FIT IN)...

Fighting Cancer

My girls and I decided to take a stand against cancer this weekend by participating in the American Cancer Society's Breast Cancer walk in Prospect Park. Its amazing to see so many men and women out fighting for a cause. There is nothing more inspiring than a pink shirt with the word SURVIVOR on the back of it. Kudos to all that participated in a walk this weekend...
