Cougarology 101

When it comes to the term cougar I have no problem with being called one, truth is "I love me some young boys" I dont know but its something about the optimisim in their eyes, that tatted sleeve tattoo and his wife beater HAVE MERCY... I dont know if some of my bad habits have rubbed off on my friends or maybe that bug is just going around but I encourage all ladies to treat themselves. Find you a nice, energetic young man to have fun with, its all about the experince. It kills me when I come across a 25yr old female and shes like "yeah I'm a cougar my boo is 21" ummmmmmm honey bunny thats your age range please SAT DOWN (as my cousin Frances would say) not sit down but SAT DOWN lol... To be an official cougar you should be 7 years or more your boo's senior... Alot of women ask why date a young dude what can he possibly offer you, well I say a few things... For those females that have their own and are not ready to fully committ, who arent crying about the baby & the ring, your "YOUNG MAN's" financial situation is the last of your concern.

Younger men have lots of energy they dont mind stopping at the store before arriving to your place and 9 times out of 10 they wont fall asleep after the do is done and lets just say they do, oh trust they'll be up and ya'll will be at it again before the sun rises.
Younger men are less experienced and while this can be a positive and a negative, the positive side is that they aren't carrying as much baggage as an older man so the chances of them thinking your going to be just like their Ex who did them wrong are low.
Younger men are not set in their ways and are eager to learn and experience more, TEACH THEM...

Dear Diary

Jay-Z's remix to his hit song Girls, Girls, Girls proves just how easy men have it.... Oh the many choices that the fella's have and yet us ladies are sitting here with slim pickings.... I remember hearing comedian Chris Rock say the problem with African American women is that we want Tupac with a degree meaning we'd like to find us a fairly handsome man, with money, who will protect us and that is smart hhhmmmmmm are we really asking for too much "I DONT THINK SO"... Oddly what seems like a demanding request is exactly what men are getting from us, "just what they want"... Growing up in the hood I was always attracted to the "Bad Boy" I carried that with me for years The tats, the court hearings, the drama with other girls and as college was coming to a closure and I began to realize my worth I came to realize that the bad boy with the right dash of corny swag was all I really needed. A man who understood the value of family, the importance of saving, who knew the meaning of spontaneity, a man who wouldn't allow me to run over him who would put his foot down when necessary... As I embark on this journey of finding myself I believe that Mr. Right will cross my path and until then Mr. Right Now will have to do LMAO...

Playing Tag Along

Its kinda cool when your younger sister has an amazing job with amazing perks and you get to meet amazing people... Tuesday night Shyah took me to SOBs for the Fab concert of his latest mixtape "THE SOUL TAPE", Fab performed every song from start to finish and he brought along each artist that appeared on every song, from Red Cafe to Llyod Banks to Trey Songs. Lets just say I left debating who should I dream about that night FAB OR TREY, well who am I to choose so I decided to bring both of them along :) ...

A Milestone at Cornerstone...

When my girlfriend Kenya asked me to list my Top 30 friends throughout life there were so many ppl to choose from in elementary there was Shavon Williams, Nyell Brown & Shawana Rylas and in Junior High no one could out beat Samantha Miller or Ena Brown off to High School where I met Tiffany Thomas and then was sent to DDC where I met the two that made the TRIO Moe, Tesh & Le... And then there was college Jas, Aocean, Kenya & Jere. Then I heard my mothers voice "WHAT ABOUT YOUR COUSINS" She would say. My sister Shyah, now that's a given and all the girls I met in LA ooooohhhhh if they could only fly in... I say this to say God has Blessed me with some great friends, with many memories and stories to tell to no end... TIME OUT!!! THIS ALL RHYMED LMAO... Check out the pics from my TOP 30 BRUNCH!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME...

And it certainly was a happy one... Sorry for the late recap guys but I am still recovering from my bday weekend... So lets take it back to last Friday shall we, with house cleaning, a job interview and errands to run I knew at the start of my day I was going to be late for my own birthday celebration. Last minute mani & pedi at Suki's, eye lashes done at Honey, a stop at the cleaners to grab my blazer and a long ass ride to Coney Island and back then I got dressed and was out the door... I linked with several of my friends at the Aloft Hotels Rooftop "Brooklyn Terrace" where we SHOWED UP & SHOWED OUT, bottles were popped, there was some standing upon sofa's and one of us lovely ladies was carried out... OH WHAT A NIGHT... Pictures & Videos speak louder than words...
