Thirty Chic...

Most females dread the big 3-0, so I have complied a list of things that make turning 30 "CHIC"... Number one on my list is cooking... Find a new recipe, whether it be grandma's, something off of recipe.com or even one of your girlfriends recipes and get yourself in the kitchen. Daddy has always said "the way to a mans heart is through his stomach" so with that said cook up a meal for one of your male friends you never know he could be "THE ONE"... This past weekend I made a pasta & seafood salad for me family's cookout, I got this recipe from my girlfriend Taiba who is from Philadelphia lets just say this girl gets down in the kitchen... At any rate the salad came out amazing, the family enjoyed it and I think its worthy of passing on...

  1. So Glad my friends can cook cause its so not my forte. I hate the smell of raw meat and I just really dont care for it. I do it of course cause I have the Lil'Prince but if I could get away with Not I would. I need a Mr. who will cook and I clean ;)

  2. But you know the weird part I've been wanting to take a baking class for the fun of it. My G-mom who passed (God rest her soul) was the crazy baker (Bless her) and none of her 5 girls and only 1 of her 5 boys caught the baking bug. I wish I would have learned that from her. Ugh Leah I'm a little teary.

  3. My Poor Sheena why are we so emotional we turned a recipe into tears lol... I say start with baking it doesn't include raw meats and it'll always smell good... Try different types of cakes and then try to design some cupcakes you never know Grandma's touch may be within you... As far as meals try to start with salads macaroni salad, potato salad, seafood salad then maybe you'll have the strength to try meats or maybe its time to cut meat out of your diet you know I don't eat meat lol
